පෞද්ගලික ව්‍යාපාර රජයට පවරා ගැනීමට එරෙහිව එක්‌සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂය ගන්නා ක්‍රියාමාර්ගවලට අන්තර් ජාතික ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රිකයන්ගේ සංගමය පූර්ණ සහයෝගය ලබාදීමට එකඟ වූවා යෑයි එක්‌සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂ නායක සහ විපක්‍ෂ නායක රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා පැවසීය. අතීතයේදී පෞද්ගලික ව්‍යාපාර රජයට පවරා ගැනීමට ක්‍රියා නොකළා නම් මේ වනවිට ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආර්ථිකය ඉතා ශක්‌තිමත් මට්‌ටමකට පැමිණ තිබෙන බව ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රිකයන්ගේ සංගමය ප්‍රකාශ කළ බවද ඒ මහතා පැවැසීය.
